Sadly the Devon Recovery Learning Rhythms for Recovery courses have come to an end for now. But fear not, our Totnes course will continue!

Sunday 5th May -Brixham Pirate Festival

Ahoy there me hearties! We be thrilled to announce our triumphant return to helm this year’s Pirate Parade at The Brixham Pirate Festival on Sunday 5th May.  Join us at the top of Fore Street, Bolton Cross  at the hour of 10 in the mornin’ for some pirate-parading shenanigans! 🏴‍☠️ 🥁 🦜 


Monday 6th May - Brixham Pirate festival

Then on the Monday 6th May, don’t miss the pint-sized pirates children’s parade at 11:00 in the town square. There’ll also be a drumming workshops for the wee scallywags at 13:30 - 14:30. Come and learn the beat of the sea and make some noise worthy of Davy Jone’s locker! Aarrgggh! ☠️ 🪘 🐙

Weds 24th April - Activities 115, Kingsbridge

I’m super excited to be returning to Activities 115 in Kingsbridge for another 5 week course of drumming! We had so much fun last time playing a whole range of drums and percussion.

This 5 week course is FREE to attend for adults with learning difficulties and their support/family member.

We will meet each week between 14:30 - 16:00 starting on the 24th April. No experience necessary & lots of fun to be had!


Drumming is brilliant for helping to improve coordination and memory, learning new skills, improving wellbeing, boosting confidence, exploring creativity and having lots of fun in a relaxed environment. Come and join in!

1st May - Join Kingsbridge Nature Parade Band

Come and join our Samba band!


Working with Kingsbridge Climate Action, we are putting together a unique junk-samba band using a mixture of plastic waste collected by Till the Coast is Clear CIC as well as Samba drums to create a big sound for the Nature Festival Parade.

It’s going to be mega! There’ll be 1 taster session on the 1st May and then 6 sessions from the 8th May to prepare for the big day.


You don’t need any experience, just some time to come along and practice with us. Starting on the 1st May, we’ll meet each week at Kingsbridge Community College between 18:00 - 19:30.

28th May - Family Drumming Session Totnes!

Drum Devon is coming to Jamming Station in Totnes! 

After the success of our Family Drumming Sessions in Teignmouth, we thought it was time we brought them to Totnes! 

Come and share a musical experience playing West African Djembe rhythms. Be immersed in an uplifting rhythmical adventure for the whole family.

With no experience necessary, you’ll be playing fantastic beats in no time at all. Brace yourself for BIG BEATS, BIG BREAKS and most of all BIG SMILES
