Weds 24th April - Activities 115, Kingsbridge

I’m super excited to be returning to Activities 115 in Kingsbridge for another 5 week course of drumming! We had so much fun last time playing a whole range of drums and percussion.

This 5 week course is FREE to attend for adults with learning difficulties and their support/family member.

We will meet each week between 14:30 - 16:00 starting on the 24th April. No experience necessary & lots of fun to be had!


Drumming is brilliant for helping to improve coordination and memory, learning new skills, improving wellbeing, boosting confidence, exploring creativity and having lots of fun in a relaxed environment. Come and join in!

1st May - Join Kingsbridge Nature Parade Band

Come and join our Samba band!


Working with Kingsbridge Climate Action, we are putting together a unique junk-samba band using a mixture of plastic waste collected by Till the Coast is Clear CIC as well as Samba drums to create a big sound for the Nature Festival Parade.

It’s going to be mega! There’ll be 1 taster session on the 1st May and then 6 sessions from the 8th May to prepare for the big day.


You don’t need any experience, just some time to come along and practice with us. Starting on the 1st May, we’ll meet each week at Kingsbridge Community College between 18:00 - 19:30.

17th May - Fleet Care Home - Dart Music Festival

This is such a lovely idea & I'm super-happy to be bringing some drumming joy to this music festival. I've been delivering drumming workshops at the Fleet Care home for the past 6 months and we have such a lovely time.


As part of the Dart Music Festival, the Fleet Care Home will be opening its doors to the public, free of charge! So come along and get involved, it's sure to be a lovely weekend particularly if anyone in the community who would love to enjoy the music festival but might be nervous of large crowds and excessive noise levels might feel safer in a smaller setting then please come along.

Feel the rhythm of Africa come alive in our immersive drumming workshop! Join us for an unforgettable experience where you'll discover fundamental techniques in order to create uplifting, authentic rhythms. Learn authentic beats, feel the pulse of the drums beneath your hands, and let the energy of the group carry you away. Drum Devon is coming to Jamming Station in Totnes! 

After the success of our Family Drumming Sessions in Teignmouth, we thought it was time we brought them to Totnes! 

Come and share a musical experience playing West African Djembe rhythms. Be immersed in an uplifting rhythmical adventure for the whole family.

With no experience necessary, you’ll be playing fantastic beats in no time at all. Brace yourself for BIG BEATS, BIG BREAKS and most of all BIG SMILES

9th June - Dawlish Turn the Tide Festival

We're very excited to be part of the Turn the Tide Festival in Dawlish. This mighty eco-CIC is run entirely by volunteers and promotes care for our marine environment, seaside locations and waterways, and also wellbeing with the slogan, embracing the concept: healthy planet, healthy people.


The festival takes place over 3 days with lots of entertainment and activities to get involved in. We'll be bringing our unique, uplifting beats for a parade on the Sunday at around 3pm. Come along and get your groove on!

Mon 10th June - Paignton Sessions

Our longest standing group has been playing now for 4 years & have a whole wealth of rhythms to play!


Come and explore a world of rhythm! These lively workshops are full of fun and open to all. These sessions run every Monday evening during term time at the Mayfield College, Preston. Within each block we'll explore one or new piece and revisit and embellish our classic rhythms.

11th June - Teignmouth Sessions

Come and join this fantastic course of 7 workshops at the Old Riviera Cinema, Teignmouth. These sessions are open to all abilities from more experienced players to complete beginners.


Starting in June, we'll focus on two sets of rhythms as well as revisit some past classics. We'll introduce technique and develop more complex patterns as you become more confident. Be prepared for BIG Beats, BIG Breaks and BIG smiles!

Tues 11th June - Djembe Drumming Totnes

Born out of the Devon Recovery Learning Community workshops, these sessions are an excellent way to unwind and get out of your head. 


Group drumming has a profound, positive impact on our personal and social well-being with the power to enhance mental, emotional, and physical well-being. This is a lovely, informal group and you will feel at home playing drums from the get go.


Come and join us on this 6 week djembe rhythms course in Bridgetown Community Hall, Totnes.
